Erin C. Wilson, MSW, LCSW
Psychotherapist
My name is Erin C. Wilson and I am very happy to join the staff at The Psychology Clinic. I have over 20 years of experience in the field. I received a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee in 1998 and I am licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
I have worked with children, adolescents and adults in various agencies including adoption, mental health, domestic violence and child protection. I have worked with people of all ages helping them manage depression, stress, family issues, anxiety, anger and grief as well as other varied issues. I am particularly interested in cognitive behavioral therapy, specifically dialectical behavioral therapy or DBT and play therapy with children. I believe my diverse experience has given me a greater appreciation of the human condition. Life situations can be difficult and asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Through this process, I have learned about myself as well as helping others do the same.
I am married and have 2 sons and have lived in Baraboo for twenty years. We enjoy all the wonderful opportunities this beautiful area offers. As a family, we like camping and canoeing in the state. I also enjoy scrapbooking and jewelry making.
